Hello World podcast: 2025 Video Special
Welcome to this very special episode of the Hello World podcast in which you can both see and hear us. In this one-off special visualised episode, James is joined by members from across the Raspberry Pi Foundation's learning team to reflect on the past year and look ahead. Ben, Mamta, Rachel, Liz, and Leonida share their perspectives and expertise on what computing education looks like in their part of the world, including challenges and opportunities faced by educators and students alike. The team also explores the important question of AI and its impact on society, the lives of students and computing education.
Meet our guests

James Robinson
James Robinson is a highly experienced computing educator & trainer, with a background in Computer Science and 10 years of classroom experience teaching a range of STEM subjects. James currently works to promote evidence informed and effective practices in computing education Pedagogy.

Ben Garside
Ben is a Senior Learning Manager for the AI literacy team at the Foundation and is the lead content developer for Experience AI, working in collaboration with Google DeepMind and Google.org to produce free globally available AI literacy classroom resources.
Mamta Manaktala
With 22 years of experience working in computing education, Mamta is a passionate computer science teacher at heart. Her current role is Senior Learning Manager at the Raspberry Pi Foundation in India where she leads the development of computing curricula, designs learning resources, and oversees teacher training in collaboration with state governments and government entities.

Rachel Arthur
Rachel Arthur is the Chief Learning Officer at the Raspberry Pi Foundation, leading the development of computing education resources, research, and teacher professional development worldwide. She is a former teacher with 10 years of classroom experience, is passionate about ensuring all young people have access to high-quality digital skills education. She works to empower educators with the tools and knowledge they need to confidently teach computing and technology.
Liz Walsh
Liz Walsh is a Learning Manager at the Raspberry Pi Foundation North America team. She is a former elementary educator from Minnesota passionate about expanding equitable and engaging computer science for all students.

Leonida Soi
Leonida Soi is an educator and EdTech/STEM ambassador. As a Learning Manager at the Raspberry Pi Foundation, she designs and delivers impactful computing education programs while advocating for inclusive and innovative learning experiences.
